Step-by-Step Instruction in Setting Up Your Store |
Step 1. |
From "Administration" Menu - Click on "Categories Setup". Create your root or base Categories which
best serve as your site navigational frame structure and effectively organize the products customer will look for. |
Step 2. |
Click on "Inventory Record", then hit "New" and select "Record Type" best fits your product entry.
- Inventory Item - physical, tangible and stockable item which may needs to be shipped.
- Non-Inventory - non-stockable such as services, drop-ship, information or downloadable items.
- Product Bundle - another representation of group of products/bundle at a special price distinct from
individual items. This type item does not hold inventory by itself.
- Subscription - periodicals, services, or product type effective for a certain period or carries a
certain number of term issues which fulfillment.
- Site Webpage - a type useful for information only display like a webpage. (No shopping
cart feature).

Step 3. |
When done filling up the fields, save the product entry. You will then be presented with other features
such as photo mapping / uploads caterogy mapping and others features. Every picture upload is save in your picture repository
which you can cross reuse or map with other product items in your database. Keep the picture dimensions around 640x480 pixels for better
display aesthetics and clarity. After saving, you may preview the item by hitting the "Preview"
button. Select your display preference for your item / photos.

Step 4. |
Finally, click on "Show Category Selections" then select all categories you wish to map the product to appear to your site visitors. |
