Having earned a reputation as one of Denver's top Chinese restaurants, Imperial offers an impressive menu. All the favorites are included, with sweet and spicy sesame chicken topping the list of must-haves. Every dish is satisfying, particularly the more exotic items like scallion pancakes--crispy fried bread spicy with onions; Shanghai duck with black mushrooms and bok choy; and sea bass with pine nuts, jicama and sweet and sour sauce. For dessert, ginger ice cream or a spot of jasmine tea make the perfect palate cleanser."

BEWARE! Do not eat here!!! I have ate here many times and like others have always enjoyed their food. In fact, I thought it was the best Chinese I have tasted and certainly the best in the area. However, I regret to inform you that I will NEVER, EVER eat here again because I found a dead cooked ROACH in my Chinese take out!!! Literally as I am eating my food out of the box I came across the roach. This was an absolute disgusting experience and has absolutley ruined my liking of Chinese food restaurants. As good as their food may be I truly believe they are just TOO BUSY and have no time to clean this place. The inside is old and dingy and the workers are overworked. Not only is cleanliness an issue but I am also concerned about CROSS CONTAMINATION. My daughter has a TREE NUT ALLERGY and every time she eats from here she gets an itchy mouth even though we are sure to never order anything with nuts.

Please CHINESE EXPRESS fix your ROACH INFESTATION problem. You are feeding way too many people and making way too much money for this to be an issue. My stomach is still turning days later. See pictures below. You have forever lost my business. DUCK SAUCE
